Description:

Ensure your outbound business calls are answered and reduce the likelihood of your calls being screened with Dynamic Caller ID. This application allows you to set unique rules that modify the caller ID display based on the outgoing phone in just three easy steps.

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Create and Edit Dynamic Caller ID rules

Methods:

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click the Dynamic Caller ID application.

  4. Click the Create New Rule button at the top.

  5. Set a Name for the rule, select the Caller ID to Display from the drop down menu, and then select the type of rule to be created.
  6. The three different types of rules are: Feature code enabled, Area code matching, and Regular Expression.
    • Feature Code allows you to enable the dynamic caller ID any time a feature code is dialed prior to dialing the phone number. (Example: dialing *555, 18446116110)
    • Area Code matching allows you to set up a rule so that any time a number in the specified area code is dialed they would see the selected number displayed.
    • Regular Expression (RegEx) allows you to set up a rule that will only take effect if a specific number or block of numbers is dialed. (Example: Setting RegEx to 42555512** would cause any number that has that in it to see the desired Caller ID info.
  7. Click Create Rule to save the new rule.
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click the Dynamic Caller ID application.
